Ingredients: |

chopped clams (Tuna sized cans) with liquid
1 t
lemon juice
1
small onion, minced
1/2
green pepper, minced
1/4
pound (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 t
parsley
1 t
oregano
6
drops hot sauce
pepper
to taste
3/4
cup bread crumbs
2T
Parmesan cheese

Directions: |

Stuffing mushrooms, optional
- Preheat oven to
450 degrees F.
- Simmer first 2
ingredients for 15 minutes
- Simmer Add nest 7
ingredients and simmer until peppers and onions are
soft, about 15 minutes.
- Add cheese and
breadcrumbs
- Place in greased
baking pan
- sprinkle with
paprika and additional cheese
- bake uncovered at
450 for 15 minutes.
Note: For stuffed
mushrooms:
- Remove stems
- Wash mushrooms,
pat to dry after washing
- Stuff mushrooms
with clam mixture topping with paprika and cheese
- Any mixture not
used in mushrooms may be put in baking pan as above.
